Other Giving Options

Stock Gifts

There are two ways to make a donation of stock or securities: through an electronic transfer authorization or physical delivery. To ensure that we can acknowledge your gift for income tax purposes, please notify the Stewardship Office in advance of the transmittal. Click here for a Stock Transfer Form.

Gifts From IRA

People who are age 70 ½ or older can contribute up to $100,000 from their IRA directly to Bethlehem and avoid paying income taxes on the distribution. This is known as a qualified charitable distribution (QCD). It is limited to IRAs, and there are other exclusions and considerations as well. Please review this document for more information.

Planned Giving

Learn about how estate planning tools can financially support not only your loved ones but also Bethlehem Lutheran Church Twin Cities and/or the Bethlehem Foundation.
