The Longest Night: A Christmas Service of Hope & Healing
About This Event
This service of hope and healing recognizes that Christmas can feel complicated. While the atmosphere projected all around us expects joy and celebration, for many of us the whole holiday season calls to mind feelings of pain, loss and grief. You are invited to bring your whole self with all that you are feeling to this space.

This service of hope and healing recognizes that Christmas can feel complicated. While the atmosphere projected all around us expects joy and celebration, for many of us the whole holiday season calls to mind feelings of pain, loss and grief. You are invited to bring your whole self with all that you are feeling to this space where God’s word proclaims the Christ child is born for you.
Bringing together elements of the Holden Evening Prayer, scripture and poetry, we will gather around the Lord’s expansive table, sharing the life-giving meal of Holy Communion. May you find hope, healing and comfort in knowing that you are not alone.
