Moving from Self Care to Compassion
How do we balance compassion for our neighbors with our own needs and limits? This timely program will explore sustainable approaches to ministries within vulnerable communities. Consider approaches to direct services and mental health ministries through the lens of accompaniment, self-compassion, and authenticity. Discover what new challenges exist to sustainable ministry in 2024. Discuss strategies for sustainable interpersonal care amidst a culture of burnout. Reflect on ways you can evaluate your own mental, physical and spiritual health while helping others.
