Join SALT (Seniors Active in Life Together) to honor and learn about Indigenous People’s Day. Our speaker, Louise Matson, is a member of the White Earth Band Of Ojibwe and the executive director of the Division of Indian Work.

Join SALT (Seniors Active in Life Together) on October 15, 2024, at 10:00 am to honor and learn about Indigenous Peoples Day.

 Indigenous Peoples Day is a holiday in the United States that celebrates and honors Native American peoples and commemorates their histories and cultures. 

Our speaker Lousie Matson, Director of the Division of Indian Work for the state of Minnesota will share more about Indigenous Peoples’ Day and about the culture.  Louise is a graduate of St. Olaf and a member of the White Earth Band Of Ojibwe. Lunch will be served following the presentation.
