Join Pastors Holly Johnson and Meta Herrick Carlson for monthly in-person events that build connections between our faith in God and the stuff we like to do In Real Life. These events are geared toward middle school students and the schedule is shaped by ideas from students.
This month, Faith IRL is meeting up with students from the Minneapolis campus to raise money and buy gifts for Toys for Tots! Students in 3rd-8th grade are invited to participate in this event. Friends and caregivers are also welcome. Be sure to register all participants by name.
Even though we are part of a bigger group, we’ll still meet up and travel together as Spirit Garage and the Minnetonka Campus, so look for Pastor Meta and Pastor Holly when you arrive.
We will meet at Bethlehem’s MPLS Campus (41st and Lyndale) so our shopping host, Bob Pratt, can remind us about guidelines and behavior for the shopping trip. We’ll hear how much money has been collected and how much each student can spend.
Then its off to Target Southdale (70th & York Av S) to shop AND drop of the toys at KARE 11. A stop for dinner will be included in the schedule and we’ll have more details to share as the date approaches.
