Earth Day Park Clean-up at MLK Park

The Kingfield Neighborhood Association and Spirit Garage will host a neighborhood cleanup day on Holy Saturday, April 19 beginning at 9:30 am and concluding with a BBQ beginning at 12:15 pm.

The Kingfield Neighborhood Association and Spirit Garage will host a neighborhood cleanup day on Holy Saturday, April 19 beginning at 9:30 am and concluding with a BBQ beginning at 12:15 pm. This event will coincide with the citywide park clean-up effort.
From a central location Martin Luther King Jr. Park, neighbors and friends will go out into the neighborhood with clean-up supplies, including graffiti clean-up kits, adopt-a-block sign up sheets, and trash bags. Volunteers can enter their collection of trash into a trash collection contest–winners announced at 12:00 pm!
Spirit Garage will coordinate a BBQ starting at 12:15 pm to feed those who participate.
