Session 1 (May 1): Defining Christian Nationalism and its theological roots
Session 2 (May 8): How can you, your family and faith communities work together to combat Christian Nationalism? How do you take good care of yourself and your neighbors when authoritarian government and religious violence are on the rise?
Pastor Angela’s Bio: Angela Denker is a Lutheran pastor and veteran journalist. She has written for many publications, including Sports Illustrated, The Washington Post, and FORTUNE magazine. Denker has appeared on CNN, BBC and SkyNews to share her research on politics and Christian Nationalism in the U.S. Her book, Red State Christians: Understanding the Voters Who Elected Donald Trump, was the 2019 Silver Foreword Indies award-winner for Political and social sciences.
