Family Style Vacation Bible School (MTKA)

All For One, One For All!

The Joseph Story: Family Style VBS at the Minnetonka Campus

We’ll explore the story of Joseph in Genesis over the course of four weeknights. Joseph’s journey asks us to consider what the whole community can do for one person and what one person can do for the whole community. We hope you and your family will fall in love with this ancient story about the power of family and forgiveness.  This sweeping tale explores sibling rivalry, feeling lonely, dreaming big, and the courage it takes to say you’re sorry. This four-part event is family-style, which means the schedule is crafted for all generations. We eat dinner together and then use theater, music and art to engage the story one scene at a time. Each night ends with a bonfire and s’mores on the lawn.

MINNETONKA: August 5, 7, 12 and 14,  6:00 pm – 8:00 pm  Details & Registration.

VOLUNTEERS: Adult volunteers needed. Contact Pastor Meta with any questions.

Service Trips

Middle School Trip

MADISON, WI – July 27 (12:00 pm) – August 3 (3:00 pm)

Students currently in grades 6-8 are invited to join us on a summer service learning trip with Serve Boldly. On this trip we will be serving in Madison, Wisconsin. Madison is a smaller urban city with vibrant city parks and five beautiful lakes.  As home to the State Capitol, advocacy and justice are interwoven into the culture of the community.  Serve Boldly partners with local congregations and nonprofits to serve our neighbors in Madison. Students can expect to work hard alongside locals while learning how to be better neighbors to everyone.

Registration Closed – Trip is full! Contact Melissa with any questions.

High School Trip

NASHVILLE, TN – July 5 (7:00 am) – Jul 12 (8:00 pm)

Students currently in grades 8-12 are invited to join us on a summer service learning trip with Serve Boldly in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is known as ‘Music City U.S.A’, is filled with iconic music industry venues and landmarks.  Rapid growth and gentrification have impacted this unique, historic community and its neighborhoods. Serve Boldly partners with non-profit organizations and ministries that support our neighbors in Nashville and worldwide. Youth can expect to spend the week working hard at many service sites throughout the city. Some may include: preparing and serving food, creating care kits for NICU patients, sorting donations, and more. There will also be time to explore the city, and take in some fun sights.

Registration Closed – Trip is full! Contact Melissa with any questions.
