HandyWorks

HandyWorks helps older and permanently physically disabled adults in south, southeast and northeast Minneapolis continue living independently at home by matching them with a network of both paid and volunteer chore workers. Workers complete chores such as snow removal, lawn mowing, yard care, house cleaning, laundry, and minor repairs such as door-lock replacement.

Project Homeless Connect

The next Project Homeless Connect will be held on December 13, 2010, at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Project Homeless Connect brings volunteers of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels together to serve people in our community experiencing homelessness. All first-time volunteers are required to attend a training and orientation session. Returning volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
