Bethlehem Open During Construction

Lyndale Avenue from 38th Street to 50th Street is closed.
It is anticipated that the pavement removals will be completed by the first week of September. Please consider yourself "local traffic" when you are coming to Bethlehem. Grand or Bryant Avenues are the best alternate routes.

Centerpoint Energy will start replacing the gas main when the concrete pavement is removed.

The City of Minneapolis will install temporary water. This is necessary to complete the cleaning and relining of the water main. The procedure for this work is:

1. Installing yellow plastic piping.
2. Connecting the pipe to a fire hydrant.
3. Residential service is provided by hose connected to the yellow pipe to the exterior faucet. The resident will be notified prior to completing the temporary connection.
4. This connection will allow for lawn sprinkling.
5. If it is necessary to get into your residence, a Water Works employee will contact you to set up an appointment.
6. The water will be sampled to make sure that it meets or exceeds the drinking water standards.

Neighborhood meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The meetings are held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 4100 Lyndale Avenue beginning at 6 pm.
