All people need and deserve a nurturing and secure environment. Yet a safe community where children and adults can live and grow among caring adults does not just happen; it is created by individuals who are committed and determined to shape that community.
Bethlehem Lutheran Church is committed to making our congregation a safe haven for all persons and to provide safeguards against all forms of abuse. To do so we require all volunteers who work with minors and vulnerable adults to view the training video (coming soon to the web) and complete application forms.
This policy sets forth our every day procedures in working with minors and vulnerable adults.
Adults who work with minors or vulnerable adults need to fill out these applications and releases. Return to Bethlehem, attention Alyssa Dybvig.
Youth who volunteer (VBS, Sunday School, etc) to work with other children and youth need to fill out this application and return it to Bethlehem, attention Alyssa Dybvig.
