Bethlehem Lutheran Church

Bethlehem's Care Ministry is made up of two different parts- staff including parish nurses and social worker and congregation member-led ministry teams. Here are just a few of the services that can be accessed by contacting the care ministry staff office.

• Help finding an assisted living or nursing home in the Twin Cities
• Rides to a medical appointment
• A parish nurses or social worker to attend a care conference
• Information regarding medications
• A visit from the church, pastor, nuse, or social worker
• Information or help in filling out your advanced directive or living will
• Information about community resources
• Do you have a family member with mental illness or who is in recovery and want more information or resources?

Care Ministries Volunteer Needed

1. The Care Ministries is looking for volunteer health professionals to offer health and wellness topics, blood pressure screenings, and exercise/walking groups at local mental health day center.

2. Help us grow our Mental Health resources at Bethlehem
-Give mental health presentations at BLC
-Offer support/discussion groups for specific mental illnesses
-Help review and plan mental health resources at BLC
-Help explore mental health outreach opportunities in the community
