My family had the recent privilege of joining Bethlehem as members. We are thrilled to officially be a part of such an eclectic & welcoming community.
The new member class was especially helpful in that it offered an automatic opportunity to feel more connected to the community. Beyond the expected casual, small group conversation, we also learned about the pillars of our leadership team and the history of both the Lutheran church and our own Bethlehem.
For me though the best part was validating what a unique and empowering community we have here. The leaders are laid-back but fiercely committed to their vision: Connecting People with God, each other & their Mission in the World. The array of available programs & ministries, both local and global, is expansive & inspiring! The members are especially inclusive and exude an immediate sense of support and compassion.
When I walk in the doors of Bethlehem now I am proud to wear my name tag and honored that our family can call it “our church”. Annie Haight
