It has been raining and flooding the last few days of the trip when we were in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. They have never seen flooding like this. Yesterday, however, we drove up to Jerusalem and it started snowing. It has turned into blizzard conditions and the city is at a stand still right now. The bus cannot come and pick us up, so we are wondering whether we will go walk around if the guide cancels on us. However, the flight is scheduled to depart on time, so hopefully the bus can come pick us up. It has not snowed in Jerusalem for 12 years and people cannot remember the last time it was blizzard conditions. What a unique time to be here. The group is amazingly flexible and all are in good spirits. The Notre Dame hotel even delayed our check out time. Keep us in your prayers during this last day of our trip. Peace, Beth
Hey, Beth and trip participants
Wishing you the very best in your travels and look forward to your stories.
It is raining in Minneapolis. No new snow since you left!

Snow in Jerusalem
Hi Beth and fellow travellers, Warm greeting from southern Australia where we have been inundated with bush fires in sharp contrast to the weather you have experienced!
Beth, I recall snow in Jerusalem in about 1995! I dont recall why, but Doug and I had hired a car and had to drive along snow covered streets in the daunting EastJerusalem traffic. I read in your FB MSG that you were going to be in the Holy Land so I popped onto the church site and it was lovely to find your blog and video entries from Bethlehem. Much love to you and your family, Steph Tashkoff
