There is religious art and then there is seeing God in art. The current sermon series is all about how the Word became flesh in Jesus and changed the world. Anastasia Pydych, Bethlehem member and Senior Docent at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, will lead an interactive discussion on the concept of words highlighted in the Lent sermons (Grace, Sacrifice, Repentance, Mercy, Righteousness and Obedience) through slides of ancient to modern art of various cultures from the Minneapolis Institute of Arts.
